Rob Moody

Rob’s 50-year winemaking career started in 1969.

He was employed at Penfold’s by Max Schubert, the ‘father’ of Penfolds Grange, when Penfolds was still a family-owned company.

Rob continued working on iconic South Australian wines at Penfolds and Wynns until 2001.

Quiet, unassuming and profoundly talented and patient in his profession, Rob’s greatest delight currently is producing this compact, super-premium range, with absolute consistency, in close connection with his family.
